Second day of teaching at Maico ballet studio. What beautiful, delightful, lovely students and staff! Maico was so sweet, and her daugther was adorable!

Maico showing her little girl how to respond to "how old are you?" This is how they say they are two years old in Japan.

Outside of Maico Ballet studio after classes today. One of the little girls in the first, younger class recognized Yumi's face from ICAN (International Christian Academy of Nagoya). Apparently this little girl told her mom Yumi san was at Maico ballet studio today. The mom waited until we walked outside after the second, older class was over. She wanted to say "hi" to Yumi san! She had recognized "Budounoki" on the flyer and thought, "I think that is Yumi's church?" Her and Yumi are talking in this photo. :) They chatted for a while outside the ballet studio and then Yumi invited them to come to the church for a bit. They followed us back to the church. They stayed at least half an hour or more. The daughter (Maico ballet student) who had recognized Yumi loved looking at the books at the church. She couldn't put one of them down when time came to leave. Yumi let her take one home. It looked to be Bible stories with many sequential black and white pictures (almost comic book style).
