Day 9: Tuesday, August 9th - Teaching ballet, English
Day 10: Wednesday, August 10th - Sightseeing!
Yumi and another family from the church took us out to lunch in Gifu prefecture (about an hour north of Nagakute). The tables at the restaurant were lined with tubes of running water that connected all the way back to the chef. He would send noodles through the water that we had to "fish" for with our chopsticks!
After lunch we went hiking through the mountains behind the restaurant. We followed a river to a waterfall. It was so beautiful!
On our way back to Nagakute, we stopped at Seki, a city famous for handmade knives of exceptional quality. We mostly bought ice cream though ;D
