For dinner we met Yumi's mom and Arata for sushi. We had to take the subway which was an adventure all on its own. At dinner, Madison and I tried many new things. Some of the most foreign to us were eel, raw clam, and for me (Madison can't have soy) Natto with raw squid. Natto was a once in a lifetime experience, by which I mean it's never happening again.
Yumi's mom was so sweet! She brought Madison and I adorable little gifts and wanted us to try so many things at dinner. She is such a caring person and I'm very glad we were able to meet her.
