VBS Planning

Day 1: Monday, August 1st (Japan time)

Madison: 

Hi! We just got home from a long day of VBS prep and planning. It's been pretty go-go-go since 10am this morning (and we are really feeling the exhaustion). But today was fun!! Loving getting to know the people here. So dear!

We had a lovely, spontaneous worship session earlier today when Hiroshi pulled out his guitar. He is very talented! The first few worship songs he played left us in awe as we realized they were two of the songs Sarah and I had discussed using to lead VBS worship (and Hiroshi had no idea we were planning on these songs). He also sang one of his original songs and it was quite special (very beautiful, moving, and peaceful even though we couldn't understand the lyrics).

Yumi:

We are preparing for the VBS. They did such a great job today!  Non-Christian mothers came and helped. Two families stayed till dinner!

We received wonderful gifts from you and your church family. We want to say thank you but words are not enough. 

I came home and thought back to today. I am really thankful for all that happened today. 

The moms and kids had a wonderful time here. They are so happy to help us! Amazing! 

I am praying for Mayuko, Mineko, and Keiko (non-Christians) and their families. 

Please continue to pray for us and rejoice with us! His name will be glorified!
